The next partner meeting will be held on 23rd and 24th April 2012 in Ljubljana in Slovenia. The consorcium will be discussing the project issues such as financial management, dissemination activities, success of training courses and general progress developed within the project etc.
All project partners are working at present on the final design of national Travors 2 training courses. If you are interested to participate in training courses do not hesitate and contact your national partner organization.
Representatives of Czech project partner Merosystem have attended the international event European Days of Handicap 2011 that was held in Ostrava in the Czech republic since 3rd till 7th of October. Within the European Days of Handicap were organized several activities and Merosystem has attended two of them. The first one was international fair Ostrava Handicap that was located in exibition ground Černá louka and the second was workshop Work possibilities for young people with dissabilities.
The TRAVORS 2 partnership also actively disseminates the project and its outputs. The published articles are available in Czech language version. These websites serve as an effective and free communication channel and will be used also for publishing of the articles which will describe the progress achieved within the TRAVORS 2 project in the future.
The second project meeting and workshop will take place in Šiauliai, Lithuania, from 18th to 22nd July 2011.
The Kick-off meeting of the TRAVORS 2 project took place in Prague, the Czech Republic, from 17th to 20th January 2011. The project partnership is composed from seven partners from five different countries – United Kingdom, Turkey, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. The representatives of all project partners attended the Kick-off meeting.
Within the Kick-off meeting the Designed Principles Workshop was organised. This workshop was led by the UK project partner – Department for Work and Pensions. The UK partners presented the DWP Training Design Principles to the project TRAVORS 2 partners and added also some practical examples and exercises that helped to understand the topic.
All project partners agreed that the Kick-off meeting, as well as the workshop, was very effective and productive.
